The final stage of the Redlands Classic is the Sunset circuit race. We start off with 2 short laps of the criterium course in downtown Redlands, then climb up from there for 12 laps of a hilly, twisty, technical circuit. Once that is done, we descend back to the crit course for 5 more laps. On top of this there Continue Reading...

Only four of us survived to start this stage from Jet Fuel Coffee/ Norco Bicycles squad, while others left out to take care of their battle-wounds from previous stage. Actually more than half of the team members are now covered in road rush! Whoever said cycling is not a contact sport… Ryan, Travis and myself rode out to the course Continue Reading...

Personally I had been eyeing this stage to try and get into the breakaway along with our guest rider Bailey. As he was trying to get more KOM points to keep his lead for Continue Reading...

What an eventful last couple days! We’ve got a victory and some broken bikes… So there are a few things need to be worked out before today’s crit, checking if I can ride the smaller spare frame, and if I can even pedal it… my hip flexors are pretty swollen and walking alone is a bit of struggle.     Continue Reading...

Before I go recapping about how our race went and what we should have or shouldn’t have done. We’ll start off a week and a bit back. On a Thursday morning I woke with a Hollywood sign on my mind and with a spontaneous urge to see it. Telling no one what I was doing I’ve headed out early in Continue Reading...

The Big “O”

I had never been to California and did not know what to expect. Was it truly like the movies and commercials I had seen all my life? In short, it is exactly like it’s portrayed. Mind-blowing. The cars, the people, the views, the landscape, the Continue Reading...

We’re all aware of how important a proper diet is to performance.  Cyclists are pretty good in this area for the most part.  Obsessed with weight, calorie counts, protein, glycemic index, electrolytes and recovery – the list goes on.  Talk to any flock of riders and you will undoubtedly hear from many experts in the field. One such area of Continue Reading...
